Balboa normally builds her objects vertically, maybe with the purpose of obtaining by means of these, some secret in heaven. It is to emphasize the environment, the atmosphere which breathes in her paintings. Her unusual chromatic combinations and the techniques of scraping give her paintings a freshness that we are not accustomed to seeing. |
